Paris Exhibits
If you are in Paris right now there are some wonderful exhibits including my friend Mickalene Thomas's show at Galerie Nathatie Obadia. It is a gorgeous show from one of the world's leading contemporary artists. Mickalene invited me to a private dinner following the opening where I met many artists and dignitaries who are in town for Art Basel Paris.
Fashion week was incredible.
Fashion week was incredible. We lived on the fringes of it, but did run into Lynn Yeager who is a contributing editor to Vogue, The New York Times and others. When she commented on my Torn Poster jumper I was wearing she commented it was "fabulous!"
I am currently in the City of Lights and having the time of my life. I have been snapping away at images of torn posters all over the arrondissements, in the metro stations and pretty much anywhere I see a torn poster (and they are everywhere!)

As for my life in Paris? Well...it's magic! I recently found an identity card at a flea market. It was from 1953 and I posted it on instagram. Guess what? Someone from back in Oregon actually knows that person who would be 96 now.
How random is that?

I also ran into someone who I had not seen in over 35 years at our favorite gay bear bar, The Bears Den. And guess what? He's moving to Paris too!
